When we digitally convert VHS tape to DVD, there are two options for the final product:
OPTION 1 - ONE MENU ITEM- DISC PLAYS ON ANY COMMERCIAL DVD PLAYER
-->$15 per DVD for up to two hours continuous content with one menu item. This is the simplest, fastest and cheapest way to transfer a whole VHS tape to DVD. The viewer chooses from one menu item at the beginning of the DVD, and uses the "Skip" or "Fast Forward" or "Rewind" buttons on the remote control to navigate through content.
OPTION 2 - MULTIPLE MENU ITEMS - DISC PLAYS ON ANY COMMERCIAL DVD PLAYER
-->$15 per DVD for up to two hours of content PLUS an additional $10 for creation of a DVD PLAYER-READY DISC with multiple program menu choices. With this method, the viewer can choose between various video clips or programs from a DVD menu that presents multiple items, similar to a commercial movie DVD.
NOTE ABOUT MULTIPLE MENUS: Because it is extremely labour intensive, the additional fee of $10 per DVD must be applied for recording multiple programs on a DVD requiring more than one menu item. Please ask us to explain.
